Oceans And Roads Initiative

One of Oceans And Roads’ main initiatives is to forge powerful partnerships with non-profit organizations like Sail ORO that focus on providing unique opportunities to young people by giving them exposure to travel and water sport activities that may have been ordinarily beyond their reach. By aligning our efforts, we are able to offer scholarships and provide opportunities that empower women, women of color, and individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, to explore, learn, and competitively participate in offshore sailing.

We passionately believe in broadening horizons by showcasing relatable role models who reflect the identities and stories of those we aim to inspire. By exposing participants to people who look like them or come from similar communities, we ignite sparks of encouragement and enable them to go beyond conventional boundaries and dive deeper into the realm of possibility.  This collaboration is more than an alliance; it's a shared journey of breaking barriers, and making sailing a universally accessible and celebrated sport.
