Inga Grimmett is the Founder and Executive Producer of Oceans And Roads Films, a division of Oceans And Roads , a trademarked multifaceted media and production company specializing in documentary films, lifestyle programming, online magazine publishing (oceansandroadsmagazine.com), podcasts and products. It is a subsidiary under GrimmettMiller, Inc.  Inga Grimmett carries over 20 years experience in television and film production serving as an executive producer's assistant, associate producer and producer for networks that included CBS, NBC, MTV, FOX, Paramount Studios and E!.  In addition she carries 10 years’ experience as a photo shoot producer and production manager for e-commerce catalogs, print and web advertising, marketing and social media for big box department store brands such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.  Inga is also a consultant for marketing and social media design, pitch presentation and web design. Inga also has extensive knowledge in costume design.  She has worked as a set costumer, costume designer and wardrobe supervisor for major studio television productions.  Currently,  Inga works as a costumer supervisor for a major television studio and is a current member of IATSE Local 705.  Currently Inga is developing The Oceans And Roads Non Profit which creates and awards scholarship funding for swimming and sailing courses as well as travel abroad work study programs for women, women of color and people from disadvantaged and underrepresented communities. 

Fred Guerrier

Fred Guerrier is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker who was born in Haiti and grew up in New York City. He holds a BA from Yale and an MFA from New York University. His shorts have played and won at festivals throughout the world. He has had work screened on television, at art galleries, and on a giant billboard in Times Square for a year. He has spent time as a Fulbright Scholar in Bulgaria, an English teacher in Spain, and a reality TV editor in Los Angeles. In 2016, he traveled with and documented Bernie Sanders during his presidential campaign. He did it again with Kamala Harris in 2020. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is a founding partner at Rope Line Media.

Ahmed Uthman.heic

Ahmed Uhtman

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Ahmed Uthman is a filmmaker and creative storyteller from Ghana. He graduated with his Bachelor’s in Film at Howard University and is currently pursuing his MFA at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.

 

Ahmed has served as writer, director, and cinematographer on a number of short films, music videos and commercials and  written four feature-length screenplays. Ahmed is 2023 Academy Nicholls Fellowship Semifinalist, a two time Sundance feature writing lab finalist 2019, 2023 and a Humanities College Drama Award semifinalist.  He also got a chance to serve as a cinematographer for an independent feature which was an official selection at the 2023 Cannes African Pavilion.

 

Having spent the first twenty years of his life in a small town in Ghana, Ahmed’s filmmaking style is characterized by a deep sense of empathy and an unwavering commitment to portraying the authentic narratives of African people both on the continent and across the diaspora, their place in history and the contradictions that define them. His work often challenges common stereotypes and preconceived notions about Africa, striving to present a nuanced and multifaceted perspective.

Aniket Solanki

SOUND DESIGNER

Aniket Solanki is a sound designer, storyteller and an avid daydreamer hailing from a small city in Western India. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in Film and Television Production in the world’s most prestigious film school, USC School of Cinematic Arts, representing South Asian media and its reflection on the global media landscape. The underdog, the day dreamer but ever the storyteller, he has come a long way from shooting videos of his toys from a camera borrowed from a friend, to now realizing his dream as a storyteller. At USC School of cinematic arts he is exploring the possibilities of sound and the aural medium in telling better and different stories. Apart from being a filmmaker and a storyteller, he is also an avid humanitarian who strives for uplifting marginalized communities through the means of storytelling and representation. Aniket worked for a year in Turkey with the Syrian refugee population in collaboration with UNHCR(United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and AIESEC. He is currently based in Los Angeles where his work in various departments of filmmaking act as a means to bring out stories from underrepresented communities.
